At MTEC we know that mishaps can happen with others whether it been the incorrect part ordered or an accident during delivery. To this end we provide a comprehensive returns policy to try and cover ever eventuality. This policy covers retail sales only.
30 day returns guarantee
We offer a 30 day returns guarantee which means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. Where we collect the item we have the right to recover the costs of the collecting the item from you. We can only accept the return of opened items within 30 days:
- If they are faulty.
- If they have not been used.
- If they have not been damaged by you.
Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 30 days unless they are faulty.
In the event of MTEC sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item, we will arrange for the item to be returned through our courier service. MTEC reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement item to the payment card used for the original order if you do not return the original item to us.
Items returned within the 14-day cooling off period
By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within 14 working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the 14 working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:
- Where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred.
- Where you are returning an entire order, we'll refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred.
- Where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you.
We will not refund your costs in returning the item to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective.
Items returned under 30 and over 14 days
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between 14 and 30 days after delivery and there has been no error on our part, we will refund only the cost of the item. We will not refund the cost of delivery or other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.
Items returned after 30 days
We will not accept the return of items after 30 days unless there has been an error on our part or the product is defective. We have the right to waiver this on a case by case basis.
Our Courier Service
We use parcel force as our primary courier service and will arrange the return of items through this service. We will not refund the cost of returning items through another courier services, unless we have agreed this with you prior to the item being returned.
